Court issues injunction against Surat’s Rudra Diam for using pirated Sarine Advisor® software.

DIAMOND TIMES – Surat may be the largest diamond cutting and polishing center in the world using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies, but few black sheep are tarnishing the image of the industry globally.In yet another case of infringement, Sarine Technologies Limited,the world leader in advanced diamond technologies, has won the lawsuit filed against Surat-based Rudra Diam for the infringement of Sarine’s copyrighted Advisor® diamond planning software here on Monday.

Sarine Technologies Ltd a worldwide leader in the development, manufacturing, marketing, and sale of precision technology products and services for the evaluation, planning, processing,measurement, grading, and trading of diamonds and gems, had filed a lawsuit in Surat’s district and sessions court against Rudra Diam for infringement of Sarine’s copyrighted Advisor® diamond planning software.

The Surat court issued an injunction against Rudra Diam, permanently prohibiting the company from ever using ‘infringing or pirated versions of Sarine’s advisor software and computer program in any manner whatsoever.The Court directed Rudra Diam to purchase valid and legal Advisor® workstations from Sarine instead of any pirated versions currently use.
